Helplessness of CBSE! Schools Defy CBSE Directions!

CBSE issued a circular No.3/10 on 18.10.2010 requesting the schools to develop their own website containing comprehensive information about the school and its management. The information to be provided on the website of the school includes affiliation status, details of infrastructure, names and designation of teachers, class-wise section-wise enrollment of students, address-postal and email, telephone Nos., details of members of the School Managing Committee etc. For this purpose, every school should prepare its Annual Report containing above information and upload the same on its website before 15th September of every year.

Since 2010, CBSE has been begging the schools to comply with its order but in vain. All schools are openly enjoying CBSE's helplessness. In between, CBSE threatened the schools that it will not register candidates for Board Examinations of the defaulter schools if this order is not followed but, again, nothing as such happened.

What makes schools violate such a simple guideline promoting transparency? Schools have so much to hide? Even bigger question is, what prevents the CBSE from taking strict action against the defaulters?

Questions are many, we will have to get them answered!
